Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant at Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit unveils Braised Fish Maw and Minced Shrimp with Abalone Sauce as their summer Dish of the Month for May & June.
Braised for 8 hours with Wah Lok's homemade abalone sauce, large pieces of fish maw is served with deep-fried minced shrimp.
Fish maw is one of the most expensive parts of the fish and is known for its collagen and anti-aging elements. It is also a traditional Chinese delicacy that represents fortune and health.
