Several exclusive collections are featured at the newly opened Bangkok showroom. Among them is La Boule, winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2020 and Good Design Award 2021 for outstanding design and innovation in the product design category. La Boule consists of two premium porcelain bowls, two deep and two flat plates and a serving plate that fits together to create a perfectly spherical shape. La Boule's unique aesthetic immediately impresses before revealing its clever and surprising function.
For the Manufacture Rock range, Villeroy & Boch translated slate stone's characteristic, raw structure into an unusual design using modern manufacturing technologies. Elements of each product recreate the brittle, chipped edge created by the traditional production process of slate shingles. Manufacture Rock offers an artisanal look in solid-coloured porcelain with a special glaze that creates a matte appearance inspired by the natural stone texture of slate.
One of Villeroy & Boch’s legacy collections is Old Luxembourg, inspired by one of the original designs developed by the Boch brothers in 1767. The iconic "brindille" pattern features a quintessential deep cobalt blue that has been the shade of choice for porcelain decor for over a thousand years. A hallmark rococo motif that ranks among the most famous and admired tableware designs, the delicate blue blossoms on a branch that comprise the brindille pattern are synonymous with a timeless aesthetic.
