Chulalongkorn University Celebrates 15th Year of ASEAN and Thailand's Top Corporate Brands 2024 Awards

Chulalongkorn Business School’s Master in Branding and Marketing (MBM) Program, in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand and Manager Online, proudly hosted the “ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2024” awards ceremony. The event showcased research on the top corporate brand values in Thailand and ASEAN for 2024. Presiding over the prestigious ceremony at Chulalongkorn University Auditorium was Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of Chulalongkorn University Council. Several esteemed CEOs were in attendance to receive their awards.

Prof. Emeritus Dr. Guntalee Ruenrom and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun, from the Marketing Department of Chulalongkorn Business School, developed the Corporate Brand Success Valuation (CBS Valuation) methodology used in the evaluation. Prof. Dr. Guntalee emphasized the significance of corporate branding, stating, “Despite rapid changes in the economy, society, politics, and technology throughout the year, we continue to assess corporate brand values for listed companies in both Thailand and ASEAN using the CBS Valuation. Our research encourages business leaders to recognize the critical role of strong corporate brands in driving business growth and contributing to sustainable development goals.”

Thailand’s Top Corporate Brand Hall of Fame 2024:

Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) was honored for maintaining excellence in corporate brand value for five consecutive years, earning a place in Thailand’s Top Corporate Brand Hall of Fame.

Additionally, 15 companies across various business sectors were recognized as Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands in 2024, including:

TISCO Financial Group (34,079 million Baht)

Krungthai Card (99,847 million Baht)

Muang Thai Insurance (40,699 million Baht)

Six outstanding companies from six ASEAN countries received awards for their top corporate brand values:

PT Bayan Resources Tbk (Indonesia) — USD 31,445 Million

CelcomDigi (Malaysia) — USD 10,401 Million

SM Investments Corporation (The Philippines) — USD 11,559 Million

DBS Group Holdings (Singapore) — USD 24,725 Million

Delta Electronics (Thailand) — USD 20,294 Million

Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietnam) — USD 10,799 Million

ASEAN’s Top Corporate Brand Hall of Fame 2024:

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) from Indonesia was honored with the ASEAN’s Top Corporate Brand Hall of Fame award for maintaining the highest corporate brand value for five consecutive years.

The event highlighted the importance of strong corporate brands in fostering growth and contributing to long-term sustainable development. Chulalongkorn University remains committed to recognizing and promoting excellence in corporate branding across Thailand and ASEAN.
