Lumbini, Nepal – Media OutReach - October 23, 2023 - The Promised Land Company is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with The Lumbini Development Trust, marking a historic partnership. which is committed to protecting, conserving, maintaining, developing and managing Ramagam Stupa which has been neglected for a long time.

Ramakham Stupa dates back to 600 BC. It is an important site that has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as the only original stupa that has never been encroached upon and is used to house the Buddha's relics.


Dr. Lharkyal Lama, Vice Chairman of the Lumbini Development Fund, said: "This partnership marks an important moment in protecting the spiritual and historical heritage of the only remaining stupa of the original eight stupas."

Nikesh Adhikari, Chairman of The Promised Land, said: “Our world is in dire need of healing. And I believe that sacred places like Ramakham Stupa are the starting point of this transformational journey.”

To commemorate this cooperation The MoU signing event will be held on December 12, 2023 at Ramkham Stupa, Nepal by His Excellency Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Prime Minister of Nepal. It will present a master plan for restoration and conservation.

We invite everyone to come and witness this historic event. They embarked on a mission to preserve one of the most sacred stupas and celebrate the deep-rooted spirit here.
