Tirapongse Pangsrivongse (3rd left), Chairman of Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation, together with Supakporn Pongpan (1st left), Secretary of Sub Committee; Chavaget Panusumporn (2nd left), Director and Secretary of Foundation; Samaporn Naeorithikul (4th left), Vice Chairman of Foundation; and Panthip Leecharoen (5th left), Acting Chairman of Sub Committee, donated for the 5th consecutive year in the amount of 2,403,000 Baht to 48 funds to support pharmacy students and Thai pharmacists in scholarships and pharmaceutical research. This is without obligation to recipients from various institutions such as Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Srinakharinwirot University, Thammasart University, Silpakorn University, Rangsit University who joined the scholarship via Zoom Webinar at B.L.H. Building, Wireless Road, Bangkok.
Established in 2016, The Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation aims to fund development projects in all fields of pharmacy, international symposia and scholarships to promising students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds; short course overseas studies, inviting eminent academics from overseas to share their knowledge and experience with Pharmacy students in Thailand; career development projects and R&D, etc. The Foundation, with a sinking fund of 100 Million Baht donated by Tirapongse Pangsrivongse, will allocate an annual sponsorship and scholarship over 20 years.
