Layana Resort & Spa announced a revised age policy stating that the resort, based on the island of Koh Lanta in Krabi province, would return to being an adults-only resort in 2023.
The revised age policy is based on welcoming tourists back to Koh Lanta, and the resort’s focus shifting to welcoming new and returning guests from the international market. The revised age policy states that from now until the 8th of January 2023, Layana Resort & Spa accepts guests from the age of 12 years old and above. Starting on the 9th of January 2023, the resort will return to an adults-only resort and only accept guests from the age of 18 years and above.
Layana Resort & Spa sees the revised age policy as an opportunity to expand the resort’s target audience and increase reservations amongst international travelers. The resort will monitor the success or challenges of the newly revised policy and reserves the right to amend the policy in the future if needed.
