Bangkok, 17 May 2024 – The British Council is pleased to announce the launch of applications for the Enabling Fund grants, offering four grants valued at 100,000 THB each, to support English teacher networks in Thailand. The primary objective is to inspire Thai English teachers and educator networks to cultivate professional connections, exchange ideas and expertise, and stay abreast of the latest developments in English language teaching. Through the British Council’s world-renowned online English teaching community, “TeachingEnglish,” participants can enhance their English proficiency and teaching methodologies. The initiative invites applications from established and active networks, clusters, associations, and other groups in the field of English teaching in Thai primary and secondary schools. We want to support teachers' networks' with free, online self-study courses (MOOCs) and webinars. The platform facilitates continuous professional development, and includes research publications, teaching resources, online events, training courses, and community-building opportunities.
