Bangkok, Thailand, October 24, 2024 – J&T Express Thailand, a leading global logistics service provider, represented by Ms. Pimchanok Chiamsombat, Human Resources Manager, received the Award of Honor from the Foundation for the Welfare of the Mentally Retarded of Thailand, under the royal patronage of Her Majesty the Queen, in recognition of its support for employing individuals with intellectual disabilities. The award was presented by Dr. Saisom Wongsasulak during a ceremony at the Hathairat Auditorium, located at the Foundation's office in the Ratchathewi District, Bangkok, Thailand.
The Foundation for the Welfare of the Mentally Retarded of Thailand is a charitable organization established in 1962 under the royal patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families through rehabilitation in medicine, education, vocational training, social work, and a variety of social welfare programs. The Foundation aims to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential, secure employment, support themselves and their families, and live with dignity alongside others in society.
