Bangkok — The Highway Police Division 5 under the Highway Police Division of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), in cooperation with the Crime Suppression Division 6, has launched an in-depth investigation into a network involved in the illegal transportation and distribution of fuel in southern Thailand. The investigation was initiated after authorities identified suspicious activities potentially linked to the unlawful transportation and distribution of fuel.
Following continuous evidence gathering and investigative efforts, authorities were able to trace the network’s operations and examine the routes used by the group. These efforts led to legal actions against individuals believed to be connected to the illegal fuel smuggling activities.
On 24 February 2026, law enforcement officers exercised their authority in accordance with the law and took action against those involved, including issuing arrest warrants for several suspects associated with the illegal fuel smuggling network. The case remains under investigation and is currently proceeding through the legal process.
During the operation, J&T Express fully cooperated with the authorities. Upon receiving information from law enforcement agencies, the company utilized its technological systems to identify suspicious leads and subsequently provided relevant reports to the police. At the request of law enforcement authorities, the company conducted internal data verification on certain individuals who may have been associated with the case. Following the information provided by the authorities, the company carried out further internal reviews. Upon identifying potential leads related to suspected misconduct, the company voluntarily reported the relevant information to investigators, fully supporting the authorities to ensure that the judicial process is conducted properly, transparently, and fairly.
