the history and way of life of people in Suphan Buri.
Mr. Rathian Srimongkol, President & Chief Executive Officer, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, recently organised the “100 Stories at 1,000 Years City” activity to emphasize the financial institution identity to support Thai cultural arts. KTC invites the press to visit “Suphan Buri,” an emerging city from another angle from a point that recounts the laying of the city’s full foundation. Participants started by experiencing the way of life of farmers and learned about interesting facts about rice at the Lifestyle and Sprit of Farmers Learning Center (Naherechai). They went on to listen about stories of the land of Suvarnabhumi which was the hub for the sea trade of the ancient world at The U Thong National Museum, and observed precious ancient remains at Suphan Buri’s invaluable Wat Phra Srirattana Mahathat. Three cultural arts expert lecturers accompanied the event and jointly shared information.
