Bangkok, Thailand, 31 August 2020 – Ascott International Management in Thailand recently donated THB100,000 to Save the Children, the world’s leading independent organization for children, in support of their Drowning Prevention Campaign.
Each year, approximately 1,000 children under the age of 15 lose their lives through drowning incidents, making it the second highest cause of death for Thai Children.
The donation was raised by the Ascott staffs in the past year through various fund raising activities in Thailand, including the Ascott Virtual Run, Ascott Teddy Bears and Donation Boxes at Ascott properties.
Mr. Brian Tan, Country General Manager for Ascott in Thailand & Laos, said “Helping the community has always been a core part of our company’s mission. Regardless of the economic situation we are in, we continue to look for ways to contribute to social causes that improves the lives of the community that we operate in.
