Bangkok, Thailand, 7th February 2022 – CapitaLand’s wholly owned serviced residence business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott) is pleased to announce the new appointment of Mr. Philipp Sebastian Frickhinger as the General Manager of Somerset Park Suanplu Bangkok.
Mr. Frickhinger brings to his role more than 25 years of senior management experience at luxury hotels in Germany, Switzerland, China, and Thailand.
Prior to joining The Ascott Limited, Mr Frickhinger was the General Manager of Cape Panwa Resort, Phuket and spent eight years as General Manager of The Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand where he gleaned an understanding and developed an appreciation for Thai culture and traditions.
As a business leader, Mr. Frickhinger believes in empowering his team, and working with the local workforce to bring out the best in their individual and team performance in order to exceed guests’ expectations. Mr. Frickhinger is a graduate in Hotel Management from Southern Cross University, Australia and has an MBA from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Germany. Action-driven and motivated, he is well-placed to steer Somerset Park Suanplu Bangkok to greater success.
